TILE MOSAIC ART WORKSHOP - SATURDAYS

  • In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to create their own mosaic tile, exploring colors, shapes and patterns. This will be a great opportunity to relax and learn a traditional technique with a modern twist.

    Learn about various manual modeling techniques and create your own pieces with guidance from a ceramist throughout the entire process at the Katharós Studio in Aveiro.

Hello, my name is Catarina and I’m passionate about Creative Universes. From a very young age, I have felt a deep connection with Creativity and Nature always present in my personal search for my inner expression and self-knowledge.

I have followed other paths; I’m a Chemical Engineer and I have worked in the field for several years. This cycle brought me the alchemy of incredible experiences and growth that allowed me to clearly see that it is people and their team spirit — the energy of the collective — that make a mission a greater good.

Therefore the chapter of engineering was closed with gratitude and with the courage to embrace my passion for Creativity and so I create the Katharós project. An Atelier dedicated on helping women rediscover their potential through the creativity of their own hands or just relax from everyday life.

The alchemy of our heart, the relationship with others and with the World is the driving force behind Katharós, which is the ancestral origin of the name Catarina (from the Greek καϑαρός, katharós, which means "pure").
